This project takes beginning Spanish students through the writing process, with brainstorming, prewriting, editing, and a final product and presentation. It is also a good opportunity to work on dictionary skills.(count as Exam)

Proyecto-
¿Qué te gusta hacer?
Prewriting: Look up 10 new infinitive verbs for activities you like or dislike. Write them in both English and Spanish. Using these words, write 10 sentences about what you like or do not like to do. You should use each of these phrases at least twice:
  • Me gusta…
  • No me gusta…
  • Me gusta mucho…
  • No me gusta nada…
*This section must be checked by a teacher before you complete the rest of your project. You are responsible for correcting any errors circled on your rough draft.
Project: Using your sentences from the prewriting section, create a collage representing your personal likes and dislikes. You may draw pictures, cut them out of magazines, or bring in photos. Include and clearly label (in complete sentences) at least 3 activities that you like and 3 that you do not like. Be thorough and neat. Also, make sure your spelling is correct!!
Presentation: You will present your project to the class. First, introduce yourself. Then, using your collage as a visual aid, tell which activities you like and do not like to do. Use each of these phrases at least once:
  • Me gusta…
  • No me gusta…
  • Me gusta mucho…
  • No me gusta nada…
  • Me encanta...
  • Odio .....
Again, be thorough, know what you are going to say, and pronunciation counts!!
